It's the end of Summer but Watermelon is still in season and if we are being perfectly honest with our opinions, it's also still beach weather. Let's not crazy and stop buying fresh watermelon! Point is, if you are heading to the beach and need a quick snack, here's my favorite way to spruce up your standard watermelon.
Sundays are my market days and you can find everything you need for dinner at the market. This is a five ingredient recipe that you will not be mad at. And most times you will already have the ingredients in your fridge. My favorite all time lemon pasta was from Lil Frankies in New York City. Omg, it's so good. But now, I don't eat gluten and I live in LA so...I had to figure out how to recreate it for myself. Here's my improvised recipe that definitely hits the spot!
It seems apparent that I like anything in a bowl. I also like things that are finely diced or chopped. Love a chopped salad, love pico de gallo, love a rice bowl. I'm not sure what it is about pizza but I'm not going to lie, I miss it soooo much. I'm a New Yorker, growing up pizza was dinner every Friday night. Who am I without pizza?
